PhD in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Cordoba. Master’s Degree in Financial Management from ESIC. Since 1992 he has been a lecturer at ETEA-Córdoba (Faculty of Economics and Business Studies; currently University Loyola), where he teaches Business Ethics. He has also taught subjects such as Economics, Finance and Marketing. He was Director of Research, Business Training and Consultancy at ETEA from 1999 to 2009.

Author of publications and specialised articles in various areas of knowledge, with special emphasis on Rural Development and Agricultural Policy. He has participated in the Coordinating Group of the Platform for Technical Assistance to the Central American Strategy for Territorial Rural Development – ECADERT. He was part of the IESA Forum on Cohesion of Rural Territories.
