The project aims to promote the development of a violence-free society by strengthening civil society and local institutions in the defence of the human rights of women affected by domestic and intra-family violence.

In addition, it seeks to strengthen civil society and local institutions to improve the system of shelter and protection for women who suffer domestic and intra-family violence in Western Honduras. It is worth mentioning that the project works with all justice operators, police, associations, etc.

The added value of this project lies in the strengthening of the project management in its methodology and framework for action; the assurance of the structure of the Casa Hogar and its mission; and the support for the insertion into the labour market of the former users of the Casa Hogar.
