This project aims to identify the socio-economic situation of the population of the Palmeras neighbourhood: personal and family situation, capacities and potential, as well as their conditions of access to employment and to an adequate quality of life. The success of this objective will be achieved to the extent that it can be derived from the diagnosis:
- Recommendations and useful proposals for decision-makers (including Cordoba City Council, the Andalusian Regional Government, the Cordoba Provincial Council, the Government Sub-delegation and other public and private actors in the region), which favour the implementation of institutional mechanisms to improve the situation of the neighbourhood
- The establishment of a system of indicators that favours the follow-up and monitoring of the evolution of the capacities and employability conditions of the population of Palmeras in the medium and long term
The following results of the project have been obtained: descriptive report with the characterisation of the population of Palmeras from a socio-economic perspective; descriptive notes with the differentiation of the population of Palmeras according to some sensitive axes of analysis for the neighbourhood: women/men, young people/adults, by ethnicity, etc.; statistical analyses to confirm the findings and provide recommendations for the future implementation of the PIP.
