Labour promotion and consultation: a window of opportunity for access to decent employment in Santa Rosa de Copán (Honduras)

The aim is to improve the living conditions of the economically active population (EAP) of the municipality of Santa Rosa de Copán, specifically by strengthening the conditions of institutions directly linked to the improvement of dignity in employment, such as the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the municipality and the Chamber of Commerce itself, and by improving the technical capacities of employers, employees, the unemployed and entrepreneurs in the municipality.

To carry out this intervention, it is necessary to start from a public-private consultation process, which in conceptual terms and linked to the results of the Action, is operationalised in a business entrepreneurship programme, an inter-institutional alliance with a strong impact on corporate social responsibility and a technical training programme for capacity building.
