Michela Accerenzi
Regional coordinator for Central America and the Caribbean
Specialised in Gender, Development Economics, International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid. She has more than 15 years of experience in the management of projects and programmes in the Global South: Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Bangladesh, Gambia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador. She has training and experience in Project Cycle Management, gender mainstreaming, feminist epistemology, research with quantitative and qualitative methodologies, design of training programmes and advocacy strategies. She is currently a PhD student in Development Studies at the University of the Basque Country and Hegoa with a thesis on feminism and development.
