PhD in Economics and Business Studies (University of Cordoba) and Master in City Management (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), with more than 20 years of teaching experience at graduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. Full professor at University Loyola and researcher with extensive experience in local and rural development, with publications in relevant national and international journals. Expert in strategic planning applied to development and institutional strengthening, he worked as an international consultant for different agencies of the United Nations system (UNOPS, IFAD, UNICEF, FAO), with field experience in various countries such as Cuba, Venezuela, Belize, Nicaragua, Honduras, Morocco and Georgia.
