Universidad Loyola announces the opening of the 2024 call for its Award for Research in Development Studies
Loyola University has been committed to development for more than 30 years, supporting research and scientific production on reality in all its dimensions. With this premise, the institution announces the opening of the 2024 call for the Loyola University Award for Research in Development Studies.
The main objective of this award is to promote and highlight outstanding research in Development Studies that encourages humane, inclusive and sustainable development characterized by solidarity.
The call aims to value scientific works addressing topics related to Development in general. Special attention will be given to priority areas such as inequality and poverty, climate change and green transition, governance and promotion of peace, global citizenship, effectiveness of development and cooperation policies.
What’s new in the 2024 edition
The Loyola Award celebrates its fifth edition. The current call brings some surprises. The main novelty is that eligible research works must necessarily be scientific articles published during the year 2023 in research journals.
Thus, the works no longer have to be unpublished, as in previous editions. However, submitted articles should not have been previously awarded, nor should they be pending publication.
