Abstract

The present volume -the second of the Central American Studies Collection of the ETEA Foundation- contains a description and systematization of the contents and reflections accumulated throughout the three editions of the Advanced Training Course on Regional Integration for Central American officials.

Together with the first volume -The SICA and the EU: Regional Integration in a Comparative Perspective- we trust that it will make it possible to “remember” the wealth of knowledge, ideas, reflections and debates that have resulted from this joint effort of the General Secretariat of SICA and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development, with the conceptual and organizational support of the ETEA Foundation for Development and Cooperation. In some way, we also hope to have shown that this is an appropriate way of doing cooperation, with the basic objective of promoting the development of Central American countries.
